MailChimp Integration – Fullname field

Hi!

I have a fullname field in my Mailchimo list.
How can I merge the name first name and last name into one sigle value to use with the mailchimp addon?

Hi Gonçalo,

A registrants full name is collected in two parts: first name and last name.

You can still use them in your MailChimp templates, but you would need to update your templates to use two merge codes instead of the single merge code for full name.

Thank you very much for your reply.
My mailchimp lists receive subscriptions from several sources. So, to do what you described I would have to change it everywhere…

Can I create a hidden field in the registration form that merges both fields in order to be used with the mailchim addon?

Hi Gonçalo, a hidden field isn’t supported as a question type in the registration form at this time.
