When I activated the Mailchimp addon, there was a database error that automatically put my website into maintenance mode until I deactivated the plugin.

Can you tell me what might have caused this and what I can do to fix it?

Hi,

May I ask what was the error message, or did it say the data for the MailChimp add-on needs to be migrated (which should put Event Espresso into maintenance mode so you can run the database migration).

[0] => Event Espresso Level 2 Maintenance mode is active. That means EE can not run ANY database queries until the necessary migration scripts have run which will take EE out of maintenance mode level 2. Please inform support of this error.. Hi Melissa,

Please update to the latest version of the MailChimp Add-on and retry.

If you go to Dashboard -> Plugins and don’t see an update available you can go to Event Espresso -> General Settings and hit save to force an update check.

There are no plugin updates available, even after I force the update check. I have Version 2.4.4.p installed that I downloaded from your website yesterday.

I pushed the update live today (about 15 minutes before I replied above).

The latest version is 2.4.5.p and has fixes for the error message you’ve reported.

You may need to update manually as the EE4 config hasn’t migrated yet.

De-activate and delete the current version of the EE4 MailChimp add-on.

Download the latest version from your account page and add it via Dashboard -> Plugins -> Add new -> Upload plugin.

Activate that version and continue with the migration, the above error should not be thrown and the migration should now work.

That’s the report from the previous migration (the line numbers don’t match up with the latest version), click ‘Next step’ at the bottom of the migration report and it should show you the option to continue the migration.

If not can you add a screenshot of the page you are on, please.

If you click to continue with the latest version, the above error shouldn’t be thrown.
