Hey there, I love this Add-on, thanks!
Quick question — my events have already been selling tickets for a while. Is there a way to “push” everyone into Mailchimp?
Or do I just need to manually export/import each group individually?
Guessing I have to do it manually, just thought I’d ask before I spend the time…

Hi there,
You would need to download the CSV report for each individual event and then import the registrations into each list. We have some documentation on this here:

As you’ve guessed, we don’t have a method to push the pre-existing registrations from EE into MailChimp, it happens during the registration step itself.

Is Event Esspresso defining new User Roles? I see once called “Participant” which I assume came form you guys, but I don’t know where or how I can see these…
Im researching now, but, since you just replied, maybe you are still out there and can help me …

We do add a role, but it’s an ‘Events Administrator’ role, not a ‘participant’ role.
IIRC bbpress adds a participant role but it could really be any plugin adding it.
