Currently there is no functionality to check the email used against a list of allowed emails address, however you could password protect the event and provide the password within the email.
Would that work?
There is also the WP Users Integration add-on which can be used to set the event to member only, however this would require the registrants were users within the site, and logged in.
It would be possible to check the email address before allowing registration but would require custom development to do.
I want to use the plugin for event invitations, and i need some way to ensure that it’s only the invited people who can book and that they only can do it once.
The only sure way to restrict this is to require the users to become members of the site and then check if that member ID has registered onto the event previously, with some custom development this would be possible, although I’m not sure if that would work for your situation?
I agree with Tony on this, the membership system is likely the best way to go, that way you can control who has access to the events. EE4’s WP User Integration addon can help with that, but you will need to use a membership plugin as well.
