Lost Form, Custom Emails and Lots of $$$$$ with v4 Update

A few years ago I hired a company to update my website and to install EE to manage my training seminars. A few months ago I try and add a new event and I can’t because I have to update to version 4. Keep in mind I spent thousands of dollars a few years ago making everything perfect and adding a somewhat custom event registration form within EE, confirmation emails, etc. Last month I had to hire a firm again to update EE on my website to v4. DISASTER! I have spent over $1500 (EE and developer) so far and it’s still not working because I lost my custom registration form, confirmation emails, etc., during the update to v4. Thankfully, my previous data is still there, but where did my forms and emails go from my v3? Does this mean in a year I will lose everything again and have to spend thousands to update to v5? I want my registration form and emails back!

Hello,

Event Espresso 3 and Event Espresso 4 share a similar name but they are completely different platforms and store information in different database tables. This means that any template customizations or custom coding would not apply to the current version of Event Espresso 4.

Your information is still in the database and it is possible to move back to Event Espresso 3.
