I have a very large client that I have developed a personalized website to promote a 2-day training program for them. I also want to design it to facilitate registration and payment. Payment will be by way of credit card and this needs to be very secure. I am not a programer and have very basic knowledge of working with WordPress. I am looking for a simple to use plugin to handle the registration and payment needs. Would the Personal License satisfy these needs? What information could you provide me to better understand what you offer aligned to my needs?

Thanks for your interest in Event Espresso.
The first thing you need to double check is what version of EE will match your needs. I recommend EE4 if possible, though we realise not all features are currently available for EE4.

Also you may want to test drive EE4 for free, just visit http://demoee.org and sign up.
Regarding the licences, the main differences are the amount of addon plugins you get. For example the EE4 personal licence provides NO addons, while the EE4 Everything licence provides all of them.
If the basic plugin covers your needs then the Personal licence will be fine, however if you need extra functionality such as the Tickets, Barcode Scanning, Calendar etc, then you need a different licence).
Based on your initial needs, the Personal licence should be sufficient, as this comes with Authorize.net, PayPal, and Mijireh gateways (you may require an SSL certificate for some gateways).
