Long load times for event pages

Hi there,

We have been experiencing long load times on our event pages at http://www.nlr.org.uk the EE4 pages appear to be quite large in comparison to our other wordpress pages and after looking at the source I have noticed that there is a very large varible in the code

We are currently using EE 4.3.2.p on WP 4.0.1 We still have an old version of PHP and I am waiting till the new year to tackle that issue as our Santa Special trains are our busiest time of year.

Hi,

The page slows down as there are a large number of ticket options. This information has to be retrieved from the database and is encoded through base64 and then decoded.

We’ve added warnings for this in the recent versions of Event Espresso 4 but it looks like you have been unable to update due to an old version of PHP.

Try raising the memory that is available to PHP:
