Logo does not display on PDF invoice

Hi there,

Does the image display on the HTML version of the Invoice, its only when you view it within the PDF?

If so then its likely your host has allow_url_fopen disabled on the server. The PDF’s are generated using DOMPDF which requires allow_url_fopen to be enabled to pull in the images and styles.

It does display when viewed HTML. I’ll check on allow_url_fopen now.

Update: allow_url_fopen is enabled on the server, but logo still does not display. Any known issues with this?

No, no other known issues.

If you load the HTML version of the PDF, enable WP_DEBUG and download the PDF it should show any errors being thrown.

You won’t be able to view the PDF normally, but you can open it within something like Sublime Text and view any errors there. Or if you prefer download the PDF with WP_DEBUG enabled and send it to support[at]eventespresso.com and I’ll take a look.

One thing we have seen (although its rare) is the server config preventing the request with some form of hotlink protection.

DOMPDF treats each image and script as an external source and loads the file using the full URL, this may trigger hotlink protection on the site but usually not.

@carrypermit I’ve replied to your other thread regarding this, if you could reply there we can troubleshoot your setup there.
