I am using the lastest EE4 and trying to figure out a way such that logged in members on my site can be allowed to register guests (I use WP Emember for my membership site). So for example, one event has two ticket types (Free if Member or $35 Non-Member). If a logged in member just wants to register a non-member guest, the screen they get gives them their FName, LName and email pre-filled with that logged-in members info – and if they enter their guests FName, LName and email and submit, it will update the actual logged-in member profile, which is really not the idea. The EE Note says ‘Changes made in your personal information details will be synced with your user profile’.

So I’m wondering how I can get around this to allow a logged in member to register a guest without updating their own profile. Any ideas?

Thanks

Josh

Hi there,

You can go to Event Espresso > Registration Form > User Integration Settings and set the “Always sync contact information with WP user profile?” option to No, then you click on Save.
