Hello, we have a concern.
The events that we carry out in our company are online (live) and recorded for later viewing on demand by people interested in seeing them.

For the registration of users to these online events (live) we use the Event Espresso registration flow through the creation of the event and its form.
The problem we have is giving access to the recording from the event itself once it’s over, since I can’t find a way to keep your registration form active for an indefinite period of time.

The question is, do you have a solution so that through Event Espresso, once the event is over, you can use your form and personalized messages to give access to the recording, and thus continue managing the attendees of the event live and then on demand within your event management system itself?
Thanks in advance.

Hi there!

How are you?
We hope this answer finds you well.

Event Espresso doesn’t have a system integrated to schedule messages when the event is over. Since it’s not a simple integration, I think the following should work to your requirement:

Create a page that will host the recorded event, a sample page on your website, and include this page URL to the “Registration is approved” email sent to the customer when the registration is done successfully. You can add something like “Recorded Event available on “Date” here: PAGE URL”.

Please, let me know if it would work for you and I will be happy to share with you the steps to accomplish this.

Cheers,

The purpose of recording the events is:
• Capture the data of the person interested in your content
• Visible for life
Your method would work as long as the event is active (within the start and end date). Once the end date arrives, the approved registration form is deactivated, preventing the provision of the URL of the page with the recording of the event.

Hi there!

Thanks for getting back to me.
A second option would be to integrate Event Espresso with Mailchimp where the attendee is transferred to a list to MailChimp after they successfully register for your events. In this way, you would be able to email them when the event is over with the recorded URL. Please, check our add-on here: https://eventespresso.com/product/eea-mailchimp/

Cheers,
