I’m encountering an issue with line breaks (br) being inserted after each hidden input field on the payment options page (the paypal button gets pushed down a ways). The site is using WP 3.5.1 w/ Event Espresso 3.1.30.7P. This is a new installation. I’m currently testing the registration before it goes live (reg link https://www.unthrocon.org/?page_id=4&ee=2). I’m guessing it’s something to do with my theme (Onyx from SimpleThemes) because the twenty twelve theme renders the page correctly. I’ve posted a question to their support forums (no response yet), but was curious if someone had encountered this issue or had some pointers.

Hi Mark,
We see this happen quite a bit. It usually happens when a theme removes the standard WordPress auto-formatting functions and replaces them with its own. Sometimes it works to wrap the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode on the registration page with the [raw] short tag.
It will look like this: [raw][ESPRESSO_EVENTS][/raw]
Alternatively, you could remove the theme code where it’s removing the WP auto formatting, or hide the br tags with CSS.
