I have a training event coming up, and thanks to COVID, I have a problem limiting registrants.
I know I can limit total registrations, that’s easy. I have 2 time slots, with 4 courses in each. Participants can choose 1 and only 1 course in the first time slot, and 1 and only 1 in the second. Thanks to Mr COVID, I have a maximum room occupancy in each of the 8 courses. Normally, I would have 1 ticket with a total limit and the one fixed price, and 2 radio button questions for a choice in session 1 and a choice in session 2. That works fine but I don’t see a way to limit individual sessions.
I could have 8 different tickets with individual limits, except I don’t see how I can prevent someone from taking 2 in one session and none in the other, or 4 in one and none int the other.
You’ll have to forgive me, I’m the first to admit that sometimes I can be a little slow and I simply can’t visualize what you are trying to do above in this case.
I think I have the idea in that you need a ticket that allows the user to select 1 of 4 courses for time slot 1 and another ticket which allows for the choice of another 4 courses for time slot 2.
If that’s the case then we don’t have a method to do it using questions, you would need to use individual ticket types but as you’ve mentioned you also cant prevent specific ticket types selections based on whatever has already been selected.
I don’t want to simply say that EE can’t do what you are requesting as I’m not sure I fully understand the requirements as yet, do you have an example event I can view to get a better idea?
