Licensing question

We are planning on developing the application on our current hosted website but are considering moving to another hosted service. What happens to the license if we have a 1 time license? Can we move it over to the new server once it has been activated?
If we purchase EE4 and discover we need EE3 how does that work? Do you provide refunds as the pricing schemes are different? Do we have access to both versions?
Do you recommend purchasing EE3 and trying out the test version of EE4?

Hi, you’ll be able to request a support license key reset through your Event Espresso account page.

We generally do not provide refunds. Our official refund policy can be found here:

If you purchase support for Event Espresso 4 and then decide to move to Event Espresso 3, then we’ll credit you for your existing purchase.

If you purchase Event Espresso 3, then you’ll automatically receive a copy of Event Espresso 4.
