License issues on WWW-Site

Hello,

we have recently moved the site from paschul.webdesign-berlin.de to http://www.patientenschulung-berlin.de and have done the License Reset as said in the documentation. However on my EE dashboard I see the domain as patientenschulung-berlin.de and on the site I see the following error:

Your support license key is only valid for one domain at a time, and our licensing system has detected that you are using your license key on multiple domains. Please log in to your Event Espresso account to manage your Support License Keys, or if you have concerns, please Contact Us.

Do you know why this can be the case? Is the WWW-Version considered a different domain? If so, we do not need the Non-WWW domain as it is being redirected to WWW-Version automatically.

Thanks,
Levan

Hi there,

Is the WWW-Version considered a different domain?

Yes, it would be considering another domain.

If so, we do not need the Non-WWW domain as it is being redirected to WWW-Version automatically.

Be that as it may, the licensing system will receive whatever is set in Dashboard -> Settings -> General -> Site Address.

If that is currently the ‘naked’ domain but you are then directing all traffic to www. it will flag up as another domain.

So, may I ask what the above is set to?

I’ve reset your license key again to see if it links correctly on the next call home (or you can follow the reset procedure in the email to force EE to re-link if preferred).

Hello,

WordPress Address / Site Address is set to https://www.patientenschulung-berlin.de

I have once again tried the instructions and it has the same result. Would it be possible if I could provide a new Admin Account, post the credentials here and you could have a look at what is going on?

Thanks in advance,
Levan

Short of the above, I’m not sure what else I would check directly on your site as it sounds like a domain config issue.

Did you dismiss the notice before re-linking the domain? If not, dismiss it now and go to Event Espresso -> General Settings, don’t change anything and just hit save.

Does the notice return?

Uh, thank you, that one small step has fixed it, it was just a display bug apperantly… All works fine now 🙂
