A school asked me to make a module to manage many events. Over 100 events.
I wonder if this is a problem or you can manage many events with “Event Espresso”.

To achieve this “website” I have to take a license, Developer License, Business License, Personal License or simply the Lite version?

I wanted to ask if you can remove all your payment information. I just need a registration without payment.

Excuse my language but not speak it well and I’m sorry if I’m wrong section of the forum. 🙂

Hello,

Event Espresso can be used to create as many events as you wish, the licence refers to how many websites you can use it on (see here)

The different licences offer different levels of features. The Lite version is quite basic, Personal comes with 2 add ons, Business 10 and Developer 12.

The developer licence also allows you to use it on 5 websites, Personal and Business it is just one.

The Lite can be used on unlimited sites.

If payment is not required for an event, don’t add a ticket price. Or if payment is in cash you can use Invoice or Check(Cheque)/Money order, but these are only available if you purchase one of the premium licences.

Perfect, very kind.
Probably will choose the Business license because I saw that the case does not have any options that I need.

one more question. If two users send the request for registration to the event at the same time but the inscriptions remained available is one, how do they know if they have been registered or not?

Thank you very much.

Hi,

I will have to get back to you on this as it isn’t something I have come across not can test, so I will speak to the developers and let you know the answer as soon as I can.

If two users send the request for registration to the event at the same time but the inscriptions remained available is one, how do they know if they have been registered or not?

If there are no spaces available for an event, the registration form will not display and they will be unable to register.

However.

If someone loads the page when there are available spaces, and leaves the page open, another user comes and registers for the event, using up the last remaining space(s), the first user can still register for the event and the event ends up getting overbooked. This is a known issue currently and we are hoping to resolve it in an update in the future by doing a check at the time the registration is submitted that disallows a registration to be completed if there are no remaining spaces when they click to register.

A current workaround is to limit your total available spaces to be less than your maximum and use a waiting list event for additional registrations. If you have spaces available you can then open those up to anyone on your waiting list.
