Hello
I would like to customize the layout. Unfortunately, I can not find the files event_list_display.php and event_list.php anywhere. As described in the help I wanted to put this into the template folder and edit. I would like to work on the homepage without the ticket system with only one more read button. And only when you go on read more, then the tickets should be displayed.

Can someone tell me where I can edit the templates and where the event_list.php is hidden in the system?

Thanks for your help

Hi there,

event_list.php and event_list_display.php are from EE3, from your license I’m assuming you are using EE4?

I would like to work on the homepage without the ticket system with only one more read button.

Within the event list you mean?

You can disable the ticket selector within the event lists without needing to edit any of the EE4 templates.

Go to Event Espresso -> Events -> Templates (tab) -> Event List Pages.

Set ‘Display ticket selector’ to no and save the settings.

Is that what you are looking for?

Hello, thanks for the quick help
Found it and it works.
Can you tell me where I can customize the layout?
At the moment the buttons and icons are in gray and also the order I would like to adjust. I had already tried it with Display order, but brings nothing. The picture is much too big and I would like to adjust the whole arrangement.
Is there a template like version 3?

Almost all of the layout is controlled by your theme, for example, you mention a picture and I’m assuming you mean the feature image?

EE does not output any feature image on the details pages, but your theme can (and often will).

At the moment the buttons and icons are in gray

For that you would add your own CSS to the site that targets the buttons rather than editing templates.

I had already tried it with Display order, but brings nothing.

I’m not sure what you mean here, can explain further?

Is there a template like version 3?

Not like EE3 as it used its own template system separate from WP but yes.

In a previous post Josh and Lorenzo provided details on template customization here:
