I am using Event Espresso – 4.10.6.p on WP Version 5.5. I am seeing references to what looks like a later versions of EE. Is there a newer version to update to?
I am trying to add images to the description and wondering if a problem has to do with that. For example this forum post references 4.2.3 which has a setting to do with templates in the General Settings I don’t have.

I also post this page as I am using Gensis on WP Engine server. I am going through that next.

No, that is the latest version.
4.X.Y:
4 – Event Espresso 4, the next step from EE3 (not just an update but a new system)
X – A ‘major’ version number.
Y – A ‘minor’ version number.
So major version bumps = 4.1.x, 4.2.x, 4.3.x -> 4.10.x
Minor would be 4.10.1, 4.10.2, 4.10.3 etc
So at the time of writing the latest version is 4.10.6.p (p being the full version of the plugin)

The images not working from your other thread is strange and not related to the version of EE4 you are using, and it looks like something is altering the return from the media library. However, rather than splitting this across multiple threads please follow up on that issue in your other thread here:
