When I click on “Export” under an event name I get a CSV file that’s very difficult to understand and doesn’t include critical pieces of information such as options that were chosen, a listen of all attendees, etc. How can I get all of this information in an easy to read report?

Hi there,

It turns out that the export feature you tried is not intended as a reporting tool. Instead, it’s designed to be used with Event Espresso 4’s import tool as a way to quickly move event data from one site to another.

Event Espresso 3 currently is the version that has the export attendee reports to CSV/excel functionality, that’s the one I’d advise to use if you need easy to read reports.

Josh:
It’s a little late for that; the customer has already been migrated to EE4 because they needed better registration handling when multiple registrations were involved in one order.

How can they run a report and see a list of all of the tickets sold for a certain event and all the options chosen? Right now the only thing they can see is how many tickets have been sold…

Hi there,

The reporting tool you’re describing hasn’t been built for Event Espresso 4 yet. I’ve added some notes to the EE4 feature planning document and added your feedback.

Are you saying that once people register there is no way to run a report on it? The sole reason we purchased EE is because it offered the feature of being able to append a credit to a host committee member using the questions. Am I misunderstanding? Is there no way in EE4 to report the registrations?

There is no way to run a report that shows who has registered for an event in EE4. I hope others will chime in and let the developers know what a serious oversight this is so it’ll be escalated to a higher priority.

Hi there,

I think there is a misunderstanding here. The current version of Event Espresso 4 (now 4.3) includes a Registration CSV Report button. You’ll find it by viewing registrations for a single event. Events > View Registrations (under a single event link)

United Networks: I just found the blue button at the bottom of the Registrations page for my event which says Registrations CSV Report. It sounds like what you need may be more complicated, but it shows what I require, which is the answers to the questions asked during the event registration.
