Keep getting "Registration cannot be completed. Refresh page to register message

Ï Keep getting “Registration cannot be completed. Refresh page to register message.” But the problem is the information has been registered but It just gives the impression that the registration did not take place.

Hi there Rajinikanth,

It sounds like your site may be running out of memory. If it is, then you can correct this issue by raising the memory that is available to PHP:

Could you share a link to any event so we can take a look at the registration checkout page using Safari developer tools?

Hi Lorenzo, thanks for the suggestion but I have increased the memory to 200m still getting the same issue.

this is a test event that I am using to make sure it works. but no luck so far.

Hello, it may be that your host does not allow increasing of the memory through that constant.

Could you confirm that the constant was added towards the middle of the file and not at the very end? If it is at the very end, then it may be be recognized by WP.

Could you re-test with only Event Espresso running and share feedback?

Hi Lorenzo, It does allow increasing the ram. we have increased it to 512mb but still facing the same issue. incidentally we have ee3 running in the same hosting in a different wordpress installation and have no issues with it. do you think it is a version compatibility issue.

Hi there,

The problem is there’s a fatal error being thrown when the registration takes place:

Fatal error: Class ‘DOMDocument’ not found in /wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/third_party_libs/cssinliner/vendor/tijsverkoyen/css-to-inline-styles/src/CssToInlineStyles.php on line 146

Have you modified the EE message templates at all?

It looks like the issue is with the Registration Approved message type.
