I had to disable the plugin on my site. I am in the middle of organizing an event and your plugin has made me lose a lot of money. There are so many issues but here are the top
The discount coupon button not displaying properly. I have gotten a lot of complaints of people getting confused and eventually not buying. I know that you have to go to promotion.>setting>save and it works again, but every now and then the button again out of wack. I have already lost a ton of money because of that.

The plugin is very heavy and make the site very slow and frustratinf for customers and me. I install caching plugin WP total cache which work perfectly on my other sites but started giving my problems with EE and didn’t improve the situation.
I have created over 30 sites for my clients and never had a slow website problem. I know my webhost is great out of experience. I even tried to troble shoot with them to make the website faster and we couldnt and they also said the EE is a very heavy plugin. You guys need to look at you coding man. It is not top notch work. And I know you know that. The moment I disabled the plugin, my website is normal speed again. Check out apnaseattle.net. You have left me with no choice than to hire third party to sell me thicket which is costing me 20% on every ticket sale. Check it out on my website. I am very disappointed at this point.

There are many other reason but will not go into them. Not yet.

In the end I will say something positive which is about your customer service. I really liked that. You guys very on top of all problems I was facing. I think you porduct has potential but needs huge imroving at its core. You have to forget about adding more things to it, and focus on the core.
I hope that you still continue your good customer service and refund my the money I paid because I cannot use EE in its current state. I look forward to getting a positive response from you.

Regards

Hi there,

The discount coupon button not displaying properly. I have gotten a lot of complaints of people getting confused and eventually not buying. I know that you have to go to promotion.>setting>save and it works again, but every now and then the button again out of wack. I have already lost a ton of money because of that.

We are working on the issue with the promotions button however it only happens on some hosts and not others and there may be different reasons for this on various hosts. EE4.9.1 included some fixes for this, were you using that version?

The plugin is very heavy and make the site very slow and frustratinf for customers and me. I install caching plugin WP total cache which work perfectly on my other sites but started giving my problems with EE and didn’t improve the situation.

E-Commerce systems (which is essentially what EE turns your site into, although differently) can not be cached. Not just Event Espresso but any e-commerce plugin needs to be excluded from caching because all of the data is dynamically created and specific to that individual visitor. Caching works by building a page from the database when it is first viewed and then saving that output to display to future visitors, that simply will not work with e-commerce.

Did all 30 of those sites use e-commerce? If not its not a true comparison.

What type of hosting are you using for the site using Event Espresso?

The more functionality you use the more resources are needed, the same is true for any complex plugin. If your running EE on a shared host then you may need to upgrade to something better, I’d recommend a VPS if that’s the case.

It all depends on the amount of traffic your getting.

You have left me with no choice than to hire third party to sell me thicket which is costing me 20% on every ticket sale. Check it out on my website. I am very disappointed at this point.

This is first time we have heard about you having this problem, we can’t help if we don’t know there is a problem.

I hope that you still continue your good customer service and refund my the money I paid because I cannot use EE in its current state. I look forward to getting a positive response from you.
