We just changed our url and email address and I just wanted to see if there’s anything I need to consider in this change. I’ve changed the email on our settings and have done some tests, but just want to make sure I don’t need to do anything in terms of cacheing or alerting wp engine re: the new registration url. Just covering my basis. thanks!

Hi Erin,

Can you provide some details on what it is you changed?

The email shouldn’t be any problem but it depends which URL you changed if you need to update your caching exclusion rules.

If you go to Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Critical pages

You’ll find a list of EEs critical pages, those pages need to be excluded, so if you’ve changed the slug for any of those you will need the exclusion listed to be updated:

we changed our website url so we are now http://www.beyondbroadwaystudios.com (formerly http://www.bwayboundnc.com). I reviewed the critical pages and everything is listed as “ok”. Our registration page is http://beyondbroadwaystudios.com/events/. We’ve tested and everything works fine, but figured I’d double check before our registration opens next Tuesday via our new site.

Ahh I see, you’ve changed domains, so the caching exclusions should all still apply as normal then.

Did you migrate the database when you changed the domain?
