Issues with Thousands separator

Event Espresso version 3.1.37.0.P
WP 4.5.2
We have an event that costs $1,250. Anytime we save it, it’s showing up as $1 on the front end. This only happens to us when we have an event that costs more than $999. Help!

This is because of some custom work that was made directly to the EE3 plugin. Please see my reply in this other thread:
