Issue with the registration / payment process

Hi Guys

I am having issues with the registration / payment process on a new site I am building for a client.

To replicate the issue please do the following:

1) Go here http://roardevelopment.com.au/holiday-clinics/brisbane/ – Enter your details in the registration form and click on ‘Submit’
2) You are taken to this page: http://roardevelopment.com.au/event-registration/ – Click on ‘Confirm Registration’
3) doing that should take me to the ‘Please choose a payment option:’ page but instead it takes me to http://roardevelopment.com.au/?page_id=1490

Couple of things to note:

1) I am using the ‘Humanity’ ‘ThemeRoller Style’ but have tried other styles and have even tried turning it off.
2) We are using the ‘Single Event’ Shortcode on the page (Example: [SINGLEEVENT single_event_id=”brisbane-holiday-clinic-3-50b3f5a891d29″])

Can somebody please advise as to what the issue is here.

I have created a User for you and can supply these details with FTP if required. Please just ask.

Hi David, This looks like the theme author has added some code to the theme that disables the WordPress autoformatting function, which also happens to break shortcodes for other plugins. Is there code that looks like this in one of the theme’s functions file?

If so, you could try removing it, or as a work around, you could try wrapping the shortcode on the registration page with the [raw] short tag. It will look like this:
[raw][ESPRESSO_EVENTS][/raw]

Any other shortcodes will likely need to be wrapped too.

Hey Josh.

First of all, awesome work jumping on this one so quickly 🙂 Much appreciated.

Secondly, I think you have nailed it! [raw][ESPRESSO_EVENTS][/raw] seems to have done the trick.

Ill keep checking other pages but so far so good.
