On the website, it says payment pending, but when checking Moneris, the payment has gone through. This doesn’t happen all the time, just some of the time. How do we fix this? |

Sometimes the underlying gateway (for which Mijireh is the intermediary) takes a while to process the payment. So initially when the customer returns to your site, the payment status in EE can still be Pending. Eventually the gateway processes the payment, but Mijireh doesn’t send an IPN so there’s a check that needs to happen to see if the payment has been since approved. You can initiate that check by logging into the WordPress dashboard, then go to Event Espresso > Transactions, then view the Transaction. Then at that point, EE will ping Mijireh to see if that payment has since been approved. |

Hi there, EE4 does not support Moneris directly through its own payment method, we do however support it through Mijireh so I’m assuming you are using that? Within the admin if you find one of the registrations that shows the payment has not gone through, click to view the transaction for that registration does it show a payment within the payment section? If so what does it show for ‘Gateway response’? |

How would I know that EE has pinged the transaction? Would I hear, or see, something that would tell me it had checked again to see if the payment had gone through? I went in, found something that still said pending and when I checked Moneris, the payment had gone through. This took place on November 10 |

Hi Tony, We do use Mijireh. I don’t believe I have ever noticed anything in the Gateway response spot. I checked a few that were pending and there is nothing recorded in that spot. What I have noticed with most of these problem is that there will be two transactions, only one of which has gone through Moneris. |

No there is no notification, it just happens when you view the transaction and updates it if needed.
Did you click to view the transaction within EE?
That’s fine, some providers don’t send anything.
Do you mean 2 payments within the transaction? Can you add a screenshot that shows what you are looking at? https://eventespresso.com/wiki/troubleshooting-checklist/#screenshots |

Update: Event Espresso 4.9.32.p, which was released today, includes a change to the Mijireh payment method which allows for checking every payment (in case there are 2 payments within one transaction). This way if multiple payments are submitted to Mijireh (where one is complete and the other one isn’t) Event Espresso will check both. |
