We are very happy overall with the plugin and work done by you guys but we are facing a very critical issue with events calendar which is not working for us with the shortcode placed on this page http://bit.ly/1ixcgBc the java script and code is fetched on page but nothing appears visually

Client has stuck that he really wants to use this calendar feature for which business license was purchased i really hope that some one from your staff can look after the issue and fix it for us

We have attempted everything ourself first to make it work but it requires some one technical who build the plugin to figure out the conflict

I will need to send access to staff member so they can view the site please let me know where can i send and to who

Thanks

Hi Brent,

Does the issue with the calendar resolve if you temporarily switch to another WordPress theme?

Can you try installing the calendar Beta that’s available to download from your account page after you opt-in to the pre-release channel?

Yes when we change theme it works actually not theme there is a plugin used by theme which is called StToolkit which puts a builder in theme without activating that plugin theme does not work but when we deactivate it calendar appears that is the issue which we need fixed

Hi,

The plugin is wrapping the shortcode content in P tags which is breaking the javascript, so the calendar isn’t showing. If the shortcode is used in the builder system itself rather than the normal post/page editor, then it just doesn’t load the shortcode at all.

Without going through every line of code in the plugin I cannot see the exact issue, except that it is to do with the auto formatting (wpautop), which the plugin calls a lot.

I’m sorry to say this but you will need to refer to the plugin creator to find out if there is a way to exclude content from being formatted (some themes use raw tags but I tested those and they are not supported by your theme/plugin combo).

Hi there,

Can you let us know which widget isn’t working? There is an upcoming events widget and an Espresso Calendar widget, and I want to be sure we’re talking about the same widget. It will also help if you can post a link to the page where the widget is set to appear.
