Issue with coupon code

Hello. We have purchased the addon for coupon and promotion codes in Event Esspresso.

It works wonderfully, except for one thing.

There are some people who I want to give a 100% discount to… so i created a discount code that provides a 100% discount.

When the user gets the checkout and applies the code, the $4.55 (from 13% tax) still applies. The code succesfully removes the 34.99, but the 13% tax on that is still being billed.

any help is appreciated. thanks!

Hi there,

In Event Espresso -> Promotions -> Settings.

You’ll find the option ‘Promotions Affect Taxes’.

May I ask, what is that currently set to?

I don’t remember a ‘wow’ value for that option 🙂
