Hi there I’m looking for a plugin that does some specific things and was hoping someone here might confirm whether this can do them.
I manage a fitness website with a private members area, in that area a client can download their programs and fill in a check in form so the trainer can track their progress. I need a way to send out a reminder to each user on their check in day.
Would I be able to do the following with expresso?
Make a recurring 1/2 weekly event for a specific user, so they get a reminder email.
I also want to put a small calender or a list in the account area that displays the logged in users next check-in dates, it’s a shared page (locked to members behind a pay wall, but viewable by multiple members) so it needs to only show that persons events(check-ins).
Is this possible?

Hi Matt,
Event Espresso works well for events that have a group of attendees. If you need a bookings/appointment option, then Event Espresso would not be a good fit.
With Event Espresso an attendee/registrant will register for an event. Event Espresso needs at least a name and an email to process a registration.
Custom questions can be created to collect additional information from an attendee.
While automatic emails are not supported, there is an attendee list feature for an event as well as an event calendar.
