Client wants this:
“each course to have its own page with the details and a book now button. Once clicked, book now button would lead to the course dates page for selection and then registration.”

Is there any shortcodes for this in Event Espresso ? Or I would have to create them.

For a button, i could create a shortcode for them where they would add link to event, pressing button would lead to registration page. But how to redirect to curse dates if possible ?

Hi Amanda,

Let’s take each step:

each course to have its own page with the details and a book now button

The book now button is really a link to another page that contains:

the course dates page for selection and then registration

which is a list of dates available to choose from. You could use the event_list short code + the category parameter for this or use the calendar shortcode with the category parameter.

Once you have the page to link to, you could create a shortcode to link to it from the first details page. As long as these events/courses are assigned to the correct category, they’ll show up on the correct page.
