Hi Support Team,

Ideally we only need to export to excel some of the info we are capturing in EE. Is there a way to do this? I saw in another post that it was in the works for a future release.

You can take a look at our export code in includes/functions/export.php. The first function is for exporting events, the second is for exporting attendees. You can modify that code to export only what you need, or add other data to it that you have captured.

So in export.php is there a way to remove all other fields except for the what you call the “System Group”?

Hi,
First off, please note that any modifications to a core file will be over written when you update the plugin.

In the export.php file there are two sections, handily commented with letters of the alphabet that relate tot he column letters.

By commenting out the ones you dont use (leaving the first, last names and email for example) it will only export those items not commented out.

If you require assistance with customising the plugin it may be worthwhile to check out our recommended developers. https://eventespresso.com/developers/event-espresso-pros/
