Is there a simple way to keep events off the calendar?

I’ve seen several answers to this question and if I was a css-er/programmer, these would really help me. But I’m just a regular Jane, and I need a simple solution. I just want to keep a private event from showing on the calendar. Is there not a checkbox I can click or simple thing I can do?

Hi there,

No, we don’t have a checkbox for this but you can set the calendar to display specific categories, which means you could have a ‘public’ category that you assign all of your events to and then set the calendar to only display that specific category.

Then any events you want to display on the calendar will need to be set in the public category, anything you don’t want to show in the calendar you simply don’t add to that category.
