We would like our customers to purchase more than one item at a time with a shopping cart utility like Events Expresso.
I just spoke to a PayPal Payments Pro agent and she stated that all PayPal needs in the automated process is the email address of the payment recipient and the total amount of the order. According to the agent the PayPal Payments Standard (free) account should work for this and is all that is needed for this to work.
My question is: Do we need Payments Pro for the shopping cart (multiple item purchasing) to work or can we get around not having to use Payments Pro?
If so, how do we set this up?
We are a small non-profit and the $30/month fee for Payments Pro is a big reach for us.
