Is it safe to delete EE3?

I’ve been upgraded for a while from EE3 to EE4 and now I am on the latest version 4.8.32.p. During the upgrade process a while back it kept the old EE3 version installed. I have the plugins deactivated. My question is it safe to now delete those old plugin versions for EE3? Is there a dependency with EE4?

Hi there

EE4 has no dependency on EE3.

So yes, you can delete EE3 core and all of the EE3 add-ons with no effect on EE4.

However we recommend creating at least a database backup before installing, deleting or updating any plugins just incase.
