Is it possible to use unique templates for individual events?

Hi there,
Let’s say you have a client who, every so often, has a random event that doesn’t quite “fit the mold” of the others. Is there a way to make individual events use a unique php template, perhaps by creating a template and naming it with the ID of the event post? Just curious if there is a relatively easy way to pull this off.

Yes, except instead of using the ID in the template name, you’d include the slug of the event post. So for example if the event post slug is
does-not-fit-the-mold

your custom template file name for that event will be:

single-espresso_events-does-not-fit-the-mold.php
