Hello, we are running EE Version 5.0.29.p,

I saw from a previous post that the order of categories in EE-3 cannot be changed, that they only appear in the order they were created.

If this is true still, then it seems that I would have to delete all the categories, and re-enter them in the order / hierarchy that I want them to appear. What I’m concerned about, is if I delete the existing categories, will this affect EITHER current active events AND/OR past events? Neither of those are a good option, since we may look to reference past events, based on a category search.

I suppose for Active events, I could go in to each one and, re-add the appropriate categories..
Any advice would be very welcomed! Thank you!
