We’d like to add Course Title, Course Date and Course Venue to the email subject line. I tried unsuccesfully to do this using the short codes, is there another way we can do this?

Thanks

Hi,

This isn’t currently possible because the email templates are designed to be able to handle multiple registration notifications for more than one event. In other words, when the Multi Event Registration add-on is activated, it’s possible to have multiple registrations within one transaction, and each registration could be for a different event. To allow for this, the email template subject line doesn’t have a way to include the event name via a shortcode.

What you could do is set up a custom email template for a specific event, and include the event-specific information in the custom template’s subject line.

Thanks Josh – if we decatived the Multi Event add-on would we able to achieve this?

No because the email templates are designed to be able to handle multiple registration notifications for more than one event. This capability is present regardless of whether the Multi Event Registration plugin is activated at any given moment.
