I was reading some negative comments from people that were upset because people could register or rsvp for an event without paying. I would like to make sure people pay before registering. Is this possible with your pro version? If so I plan to buy. Thanks.

Hi Robert,
Event Espresso captures the registration data for an event before payment but with one important note. That attendee does NOT count towards the event attendees list until they have paid.
In a nutshell a user finds an event and registers. That user is then added to the event with a registration status of incomplete an only if the user pays does that status become complete.
It is only users with a status on complete that apply to the event attendee list.
Theres a little more to it than the above with options to change steps etc but the basic principle is the same. Although a user may register before payment, they do not apply to the attendee list until they have paid or an admin has altered the registration.
