IPad scanning limits

Hi there,
I do have a few questions. We are planing to register big event 3000-5000 attendees. The fact to be able to scan attendees at the door with iPad is very attractive, and before we start using your software, would like to know insides.

Will we be able to scan at the door 3000-5000 attendees with the iPad?

Is there any limits how many attendees does the app pools from the system? (If we configure to pool like 5000 attendees from database, will it work?)

How many iPads can scan the same registration at once?

The app works by executing an API call back to your installation of EE. So there aren’t any limits on how many attendees you can scan, but the scanning device will need internet access in order to work.
