Not sure when this started but I believe that it began cropping up in the last two weeks. For a good portion of time, it would only happen on future events, now it is happening on past, today and future.
When you try to view the events/attendees, you get the error message, “Param ‘Datetime.event_start’ with value ’2013-06-11 12:00 AM’ is not allowed type ‘datetime
I have tried disabling all other plugins and using the default theme but I’m stuck at this point.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Hey David,
Are you getting any error in the WP admin? Are you able to view the attendees in there?

Hi Jonathan, thanks for the quick response. The WP Admin and EE consoles are flawless. No problems or errors in there…..
Registrations are fine and everything on the backend seems to be functioning as designed.

Does the calendar datepicker pop up when you select an event start date when you create/edit events?

Yes, it does. That being said, I have another person who sometimes enters events and cannot swear that he’s using the date picker. He may be typing in the date manually.

Okay guys I got it working and you may be interested in case the developers want to see how to fix this “situation”.
I did some SQL queries across the database to see if anything looked out of place. In the wp_events_start_end table, there were several entries showing 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The others were all showing 24h time so I figured that it would be a good place to troubleshoot. After digging into the relationships, I saw where the entries were also all deleted events.
I believe the iPad app is gathering all events, irrespective of their deleted status. If any deleted events have bad information, it chokes.
I’m up and running now, thanks a ton!

So by changing the invalid entries to 18h time, it resolved the error messages that were being experienced.

Hi David,
There’s actually an open ticket that will bring back the ability to removed the so-called Deleted events from the database. Right now the “Deleted” events are still in the database, so a more accurate term would be “hidden from the admin but still in the database”.
