I just installed the latest version of the app on my iPad and updated the API. While it is an improvement, I am still having some of the same issues reported in the thread (now closed) https://eventespresso.com/topic/ipad-app-not-logging-in/page/2/

1) Can still not login if I have a space in the user name
2) Past events giving the error “No Events Parama event_start with value 00:00:00 is not of allowed type datetime” even though all my past events have time showing in the database, and certainly this is true for the last 100 events – just checked. (API settings: Events 50, Attendees 100, Registrations 100).
3)Ongoing events do not show in Today view.
4)The upcoming events are being displayed either in name or id order, not by date or time. When I limit the retrieval I cannot see all of tomorrows events (multiple 90 minute sessions during the day) since I get the 1st session and 2nd session all the way out to December, even when registration is not open.

All the above work in the old iPhone app as expected (although Today’s events never showed there).

Thank you, I’ve reported these issues to the developer of the iPad app.

Sidney, you can reort an additional error to the developers and two ease of use suggestion:

Error – the wrong price description is showing, though the price itself is correct (no members plugins running).

Ease of  use 1 – add number selector to scan. it is slow to have to scan the shame QR code multiple times for tickets with multiple registrations.

Ease of use 2) – show number of attendees and availability on the overview menu screen along with event name, time and venue.

Hi Peter,

Thanks for the feedback! We are looking into the issues, but due to availability of our developers, it may take some time to get most of them added.

Regarding this issue:
“Ease of use 2) – show number of attendees and availability on the overview menu screen along with event name, time and venue.”

Can you please elaborate on where this should be added? Maybe post a screenshot?

Seth I would like to see it incorporated into the list of events, as show on the left column of your picture: https://eventespresso.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/ipad-app-list-of-events.jpg

At the moment you need to select each event to see the number of attendees. By adding it, perhaps in brackets after the event name, it would give a quick overview of the days events. For me, where the venue is constant, it would be nice to be able to select to show availability and bookings rather than venue which is redundant.

Thanks Peter. We will consider adding the number of attendees to the left column. It is a limited area, but I will ask our developer what he thinks.
