Hi guys!
At the moment I use the Invoice/Payment Reminder feature to send confirmations and instructions, using the cool email manager tool.
I would like to edit the code in a way to send an exact copy of that email also to another email account. So I can have an archive on my email account. (Because at the moment, there is no way to see if that kind of message has been sent or not by the dashboard.)

Theoretically I know how to add this feature by php, but.. if you have the snippet already done.. it will be great! It will save me testing and headaches πŸ˜›

Hey Giovanni,

That isnt possible right now (via settings), though you are right it probably can be done by customising the core code.

4.0+ has this function as you can set the recipients of each message (email) created.

My guess would be in email.php. I’ve accomplished the same thing without any code changes by routing all mail through a gmail account using the WP Mail SMTP plugin. Then everything that gets sent out is archived in the Sent folder.

thanks for your reply.
It’s exactly what I’ve done.
In the email.php I’ve added a snippet to look for the email subject, if it contains a specific word (that I use only for those confirmations), the code will send a copy also to me. In all the other situations will be as before.

Ah, Josh.. I’ll contact you later about my problem with the iOs app.. still doesn’t work..
Definitely is something related to some setting I’ve on my iPhone.. (I’ve a totally brand new now.. but I’ve the same problem..)
By the way.. one step per time. πŸ˜›

Hi Giovanni,

When you do contact us about the iOS app, please let us know which version of the mobile app and the API are installed. There’s an HD app that uses the Espresso JSON API to connect to the site, and the original app uses the old espresso-service API.

do you want me to continue about the iPhone here or should I start another topic ? Because the old one is close to new replies. (or you can re-open that one.. )

I finally found the issue.. is something in between the app, the iPhone and the plugin.. and I’ve fixed it.. (well.. to be honest, I didn’t fix anything… I’ve just found how to prevent that error.. πŸ™‚ )

If you don’t have any more issues with the iOS app, you don’t need to follow up then.

By the way, I’ll write here..

On my website I’ve all the events planned with 24h format, while on my iPhone I’ve the time in 12h format..
For this reason on all the other iphones (all of them with 24h) I was able to use properly the app..
As soon as I’ve changed on my iPhone the time settings to 24h.. PEM! all good.. 100% working.
It was pure luck..

I don’t know if you want to fix this issue or if you, actually, consider this an issue.. πŸ™‚
