Invoice PDF error (won't generate)

We couldn’t get Event Espresso to generate a PDF invoice for attendees. The error received was “FPDF error: Some data has already been output, can’t send PDF file”

We upgraded the plugin to version 3.2.10.L. But now, there is a different issue when trying to generate a PDF.

In Firefox, it tries to load http://www.allergyeats.com/blog/?download_invoice=true&admin=true&registration_id=2-51e7e98c931c7 and ends up displaying a blank page

In Chrome, i get the following error: The website encountered an error while retrieving http://www.allergyeats.com/blog/?download_invoice=true&admin=true&registration_id=2-51e7e98c931c7. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.

In Safari, I have the same results as Firefox.

The site/server isn’t down for maintenance. I do see that the URL doesn’t have “wp-admin” or “admin.php” as do other links when in the dashboard…should that be in there? or is this some other issue now?

Hi Paul,

It looks like you’ve installed Event Espresso Version 3.1.20.L. The L versions do not include and invoice option, which would explain why you’re seeing errors when trying to generate invoices.

The current version (Event Espresso is 3.1.33.P.3) can be downloaded from your account page. Since the auto update feature isn’t in the older versions (like .20) Here are some step by steps instructions on manually updating:
