We have an issue where the Invoice payment method becomes activated any time we update or disable/enable the EE plugin. This is an issue as we do not use Invoice as a payment method!
We made some change in 4.9.38 that may help with this, can you update to the latest version of EE (currently 4.9.42) and confirm if you have the same problem, please?
Another option is to disable front end processing within the Invoice payment method – http://take.ms/hPtur9
Unchecking that box and saving the payment method should prevent the Invoice option showing on the front end, even if the Invoice payment method is activated.
Forgot to mention that the problem also appeared on version 4.9.37. Once I can figure out what the conflict is with the ticket selector I’ll have another go and try the front end processing trick.
