Invoice Payment Method – admin bookings only?

Hi – I am just about to re-launch our website (we are a training provider) with online bookings functionality via EE4. We accept telephone bookings as well, so will have administrators making back-end bookings as well as customers booking via the site. Is it possible for the admins ONLY to use invoice payment method and online bookees have to use PayPal?

Hi there,

You can disable the Invoice payment method on the front end within the payment method settings.

Go to Event Espresso -> Payment methods -> invoice.

Within the settings you’ll see an option for ‘Usable from’.

Uncheck ‘Front-end Registration Page’ and save the settings.

The invoice payment method will not not be available on the front end as long as there is always another payment method available (events must have at least 1 payment method active, EE will default to use Invoice if there is no other)
