Hi
I need to add a surcharge fee for processing invoices. I have found some code for this at: https://github.com/eventespresso/ee-code-snippet-library/blob/master/checkout/bc_add_cart_modifier.php
A couple of questions:
Is this code compatible with EE3?
Does the code get included in functions.php or if not where is it called from?
Anything else I should know?

Hi there,
All of the snippets from EE code snippet library are compatible only with EE4. They are not compatible with EE3.
They can be added into a functions plugin or into your WordPress theme’s functions.php file.

There isn’t equivalent sample code for EE3. If you want to use the sample code from our library you’ll need to upgrade to EE4.

Is there an upgrade path guide somewhere? My concern is that this is a fairly heavily customised installation and there could be a huge amount of work to move. Also when I initially looked into this some time back there were features missing on EE4 though I imagine this is less likely to be a problem now.

Any ‘roadmap’ on EE3 / EE4 too? (e.g. how long EE3 will continue to be supported)
