Invoice charges full amount instead of amount owing

We have two pricing options: Youth and Adult. If someone purchases as a Youth by mistake, we edit the attendee ticket price to the new higher Adult price which now shows as an amount owing. If we then send out an invoice for the amount owing, the entire ticket price gets charged, not the amount owing. Are we doing this correctly?

Hi Peter,

It sounds like you are doing it right. Whenever you add a partial payment like the that invoice should be updating to show the total, amount paid and total due. http://d.pr/i/Bqlz

Is the attendee being marked as Pending when you change the price (triangle with an exclamation mark in it)?

I am having a similar problem. When the price is changed, the Edit Attendee Data screen in the administrator panel and the user’s Payment Overview screen both show the new total amount of the event, not the amount due. Other screens such as the PDF invoice and the Edit Atendee Payment Record are correct.

@Leslie – just to clarify, the Edit Attendee screen will show the total ticket price, but are you saying that the View/Edit Payment screen is not showing the amount owing?

Can you screen shot where the problem is please?
