Invoice Bill To non-attendee

We often have events with a non-attendee handling billing and registration for the attendees. Is there a way to add a separate “bill to” contact section? This would end up being a contact with no associated registrations, is that possible?

Hi Matthew,

Could you take a look at this solution shared by a team member?

Hi Lorenzo,

I don’t think that works. I need the invoice to actually have a different billto address, as well as being sent to a different billto email.

Can you advise?

Hi Matthew,

Currently you can not separate the payee from the primary registrant.

You can setup custom questions within your events, not only for the payee email address, but also the payee address, which can then be used within the invoice as the bill to info. However the problem with this is for a single event you can use either the primary attendees info or the custom payee info within the invoice.

This means primary registrants that ARE the payee, will need to provide their information twice (once for the primary attendee record and another for the payee info within the invoice) if that will work we can provide information on how to set that up?

It would basically mean all your registrations have a registration form similar to this – http://take.ms/Y6ogZ

So you have you standard personal info question group (I have additional questions on that site) then a custom Billing info group. All of the questions within that group can then be used within the invoice.

Would that work?
