Hi,
We use EE for our touring / events. We have a new need.
Here’s our case :
– we organize privates conferences with 500 attendees
– we need them to confirm the invitation to the conference
I tried this :
– creation of a private event
– EE importer to import registrants
=> when imported, the registrations are automatically approved.
What way should I use to send confirmation links to registrants ?

May I ask, how are they confirming their place within the event in this use case?
You’ve mentioned confirmation links, but what exactly are those in the above?

Hi,
sorry, I may precise. Here is what I expected :
1. injection of CSV with attendees
2. the importer process sends an invitation to each attende. The invitation email contains a link to confirm or decline invitation.
I thought using payment statuses would allow this, or maybe there’s already a feature like so in EE 🙂 ?

Ok, so you’re looking for an RSVP type function which is not something we have available within Event Espresso.
Once you’ve imported the registrations there isn’t a function to then ‘confirm’ those registrations on the event.
Are the tickets on this event free or paid?

In that case there is no ‘Payment status’ to change here as no payment will be required (technically there is a status, but it will simply be complete).
As we don’t have an RSVP feature to use for this, I can’t think of any other way to do what you are requesting without custom development.

My apologies for the delay, currently Event Espresso are not taking customizations projects so I can’t give you an esitmate.
We recommend contacting the folks at codeable who may be able to build this for you, or we have some other developers listed HERE.
