We created an event on behalf of a client, created a user account, gave him event admin permissions and assigned him as the author to the event. He can log in to the app, but when he scans a ticket he gets the error “invalid ticket.” When I log in I can scan in tickets. As far as I can tell he has all of the needed event admin permissions assigned to his username, so I am wondering if this is an issue with authorization on the htaccess file? What else could be causing this?
If this was an issue with authorization from the .htaccess, why would it work when you’re logged in? One way to troubleshoot this would be to set up a new user account and set the different roles for that new account, and test scanning a ticket with each role.
