invalid Registration object

I am attempting to delete an old registration and transaction. However, when I go to the payment object to delete it, I get the following error and therefore cannot delete the registration.

An error has occurred:
An invalid Registration object was associated with Registration Payment ID# 447.

The payment object remains.

Hi there,

Is the site running on a supported server (apache/ngnix) or is it on an IIS server (Microsoft)?

Usually we’ll see these types of errors on sites served by IIS software, but it can happen on Apache too if there’s caching in place that disrupts the session state.

In any case, if you absolutely need to delete the registration it can be deleted by going into your site’s phpmyadmin (or equivalent) then go to the esp_registration table where you’ll be able to delete the registration record. It’s recommended to take a backup of the database before making edits there.
