Integration with Infusionsoft- EE invoice numbers not being sent to IS

Hi, the existing integration sends contact and invoice details to IS, however IS creates its own Invoice Number. We then have these new orders Zappier’d to Xero.

Problem is the customer will have received an invoice from EE at the time of booking so we have to manually change the invoice number in Xero to the EE Invoices number.

Is it possible to have the EE Invoice Number added to the data sent to IS?…

Also, when changes are made in EE to the booking, this is not reflected in IS… is there any advancements happening with the Infusionsoft integration

Thanks

Hi Philip,

I can check into this. May I ask what do you have set as the Event Espresso Invoice number? Is it the Transaction ID, the Registration ID, the Reg Code, or something else? Some of this information is already sent to IS so this may be a matter of switching up what’s sent over to Xero.

Hi Philip,

That’s a tricky one because there actually isn’t an “invoice number” for the Invoice. It’s possible someone may have added one to your site with a customization, but it’s likely there’s a transaction ID on the invoice and it’s been labeled an invoice number somewhere along the way.

A simple way to figure this out would be to compare an invoice to the transaction entry in Event Espresso > Transactions and look for a match to one of the numbers on the Transaction entry.

Hi Josh… ok got it… yes its been set as the TX number… i see in IS this information has come into the Personal Notes, but unfortunately the ‘Note’ data is not available with the Zap.

Any ideas… thanks much appreciated

Philip

Hi Josh, actually the TX number is being sent to IS in the Order Notes… which is not one of the fields available to Zap to Xero.

Hi Josh, (last one until I hear back) can the Reg number (which contains the TX number) be sent to person notes, or added to the Contact ID (which is added to the Contact Notes)

We need the TX number to end up in Xero

Thanks

Philip

I don’t think it can be added to the Contact ID because one contact can have many registrations/transactions. If the reg ID or the txn ID were to be added to the Contact ID then what would happen the next time they register for an event?

It may be able to get added as to the notes within the Contact record, and that would involve some custom development. One of the developers listed here may be able to give you a quote for the cost of development to add that:
